granted it's a very small fleet... but we like it. yannick's is an '81 wagon with 225,ooo miles. apparently over 75% of these cars are still on the road. mercedes has a high mileage club.

It's Emma's 15th b'day today. I'm making a real sponge cake, first ever, w/ eight eggs -- Michael's working on his famous bolognese sauce. (The -- I hope --loverly cake is in the oven.) They and Annie went skiing in Craftsbury and Annie has a migraine now and is crashed on the couch. Jonathan's coming later to help us eat. Papa has a student this week. And he is in the spring issue of Vermont Life, so everyone has been telling us about seeing that. Nice article.
